Bicultural Healthy Living was founded to provide and reduce unmet treatment needs and opioid overdose related deaths through culturally responsive prevention, opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment, and recovery services, to promote social wellbeing for Ex-Offenders in Minneapolis with a comprehensive and multicultural collaborative effort.

Homelessness

Project Healings is about Strengthen collaboration among youth, parents, schools, public safety, public health, and ethnic community-based organizations, to support 12 – 24 years old youth of color, who are impacted by the opioid crisis by providing education, support services at a community and neighborhood level.

financial literacy

This project aims to strengthen HIV testing surveillance and increase HIV testing in North Minneapolis. This will be achieved through implementing and expanding the reach and impact of HIV Self-Test (HIVST) initiative to be accessible and available among LQBTQ members and the youth of color at risk of HIV/AIDS infections in the poorest region in North Minneapolis by distributing self-testing kits, increasing awareness and target population education on how to use the self-testing kits. 

Youth development

An alternative youth interception program with key stakeholders actively involved in youth violence prevention and awareness. These include Hennepin County Sherriff’s Office, Minneapolis Police Department, Hennepin County Public Health Department, Minneapolis Public Health Department, and Public schools in North Minneapolis.
